As a Social Media Specialist, you will be central to the creation and execution of the social media strategy. This a newly created role and a unique opportunity to take your career as far as your talents and drive allow. Your key focus will be to develop and drive brand awareness across the various social platforms and continuously strive to improve engagement and acquisition. You will utilise analytics and insights to understand the target audience and determine behaviour in order to attract quality leads. You will manage all aspects of social media, social pay-per-click, content marketing, and report on the results of your campaigns.

You will be an experienced social media marketer. Key to your success will be your strategic thinking, your continuous focus on learning and professional development, and your desire to be hands on, and a natural leader. Reporting and analytics is an important part of this role, therefore you will need to be confident with the major tools including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights as well as the standard SEM reporting tools. You may already have had success in your career and looking to do this again or you’re striving to achieve this!   • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy
  • Develop, implement & measure lead generation, engagement & conversion strategy
  • Define the most important social media KPIs, monitor effective benchmarks, measure the success of every social media campaign, and tweak strategy accordingly
  • Developing social media content plans and syndication schedules across multiple means that are consistent with the company’s brand identity and appeal to target audiences
  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on relevant social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal, quantitative, qualitative data into recommendations and plans
  • Design, create and manage promotions and social marketing campaigns
  • Create and optimise landing pages
  • Optimise remarketing and retargeting campaigns
  • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts plus manage day-to-day activities of social media marketing campaigns
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other teams such as marketing, communications, public relations, and product design teams
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions
  • Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events
  • Keep abreast of emergent technologies and social media strategies, and identifying
