Social Media Coordinator

 

Description:

This role will support the Marketing Communications team with a strong focus on social media (both paid and organic) and our community by way of customer engagement.

This person will have full ownership of our social media channels (Insta, Facebook, Pinterest & LinkedIn) to attract, grow and engage our audiences on all State of Escape social channels (existing and developing (TikTok)) through the development, execution and dissemination of world-class social media content and strategies.

The role will be fast paced and busy, so requires someone who is a strong self-starter, highly motivated with a problem solving and get it done attitude. Flexible, pragmatic with a commercial and data driven approach with solid understanding and experience working with most social channels, plus the ability to provide insights and manage multiple tasks at once will lead to success in this role.

The role will report into the Marketing & Ecommerce Manager however they will be working closely with the creative team in addition to several stakeholders within the business, so naturally this person is a great communicator and positive collaborator.

  • Execute our Marketing Communications plan through social marketing channels.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day activity on our Social communication platforms.
  • Generate, curate, edit, schedule, publish and share engaging social media content daily across all relevant channels utilising our imagery and film shot by the creative content team
  • Measure and report performance metrics of all paid and organic social media channels on a weekly basis, providing insights, understanding channel performance and making recommendations
  • Full ownership of instagram and facebook platforms (both paid and owned) - this includes supporting our marketing strategy and content calendar, execution, reporting, analysis, optimization (support and training can be provided to upskill).
  • Execute the creative content for platforms that tell our brand story as well as encouraging website visits and purchases
  • Community manager engaging with customers who reach out via social
  • Looking for opportunities within social platforms to extend offering and brand engagement. New innovations.
  • Find new audiences (LAL) to support the broader business initiative
    • Connecting on Instagram with influencers/commentators to build relationships and brand advocacy
    • Connecting on Instagram with key audiences/customers to build loyalty/advocacy and provide insights into exactly who our customer is, provide feedback for internal review
  • Weekly reporting on results
  • Constantly upskilling and learning the platforms to ensure SOE is taking full advantage of all functionality
  • Researching and recommending test and learn opportunities based on what other brands are doing or what the platforms are delivering from a functionality perspective.
  • Liaising with the Creative Team to upload creative campaign assets to YouTube and Pinterest
