As Social Media Communications Officer you will report to Manager, Marketing and Social Communications and work collaboratively with your team members and internal and external stakeholders to deliver icare’s social media strategy. You will review social analytics and apply insights to deliver engaging content that drives audience growth and engagement across social media channels. Your key responsibilities will see you:

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Social Media Communications Officer you will:

  • Develop social media content, aligning to corporate messaging, branding and engagement activities, to enhance icare’s reputation and achieve business objectives
  • Provide advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on a range of social communication strategies, to work towards achieving best practice
  • Develop communications and marketing assets and materials as required, aligning to corporate messaging, branding and engagement activities, to enhance icare’s reputation and achieve business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with other communications specialists across icare to ensure communications are aligned and to identify opportunities for innovative and engaging content
  • Provide reports and analysis of icare’s social media audiences using best practice tools
  • Provide a range of support to the broader Corporate Affairs team to support in achieving team deliverables
  • Proven experience in implementing social media strategies within a complex organisation
  • Exemplary writing and content development skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications or relevant in marketing and/or public relations, branding and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in video editing/production is highly regarded
