About the Role

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the brand marketing team and be across organic social media, content creation (this includes you jumping in front of the camera), employee generated content (EGC) and you will live and breathe TikTok and Instagram whilst also sourcing/managing relationships with TikTok creators. Building brand awareness and an engaged community is your forte.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Social Media

 

  • Content Creation: Develop innovative and engaging content for social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • On-Camera Presence: Confidently appear in and host content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other Meta platforms in collaboration with team members (ECG content)
  • Visual Content: Ideate and create eye-catching graphics, images, and videos (Reels!) that drive engagement and keep people coming back for more.
  • Copywriting: Write engaging and effective captions and scripts for social media posts.
  • Trend Research: Analyse social media and content trends—including hooks, messaging, and creative formats—to optimize our organic content across all platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with overall campaigns and brand objectives.
  • Social Media Planning: Plan and schedule content to ensure consistency and high-quality curation across platforms.
  • TikTok Shop Strategy: Develop a winning strategy for TikTok Shop ahead of its launch in Australia and manage its success.
  • Performance Analysis: Report on content performance and suggest optimizations for continuous improvement.

 

Influencers and Partnerships:

 

  • Creator Management: Source, manage, and coordinate TikTok creators through TikTok Marketplace and other platforms.
  • UGC sourcing: Help to source impactful UGC for use in paid social media ads.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and execute strategies to leverage creators for sales growth on TikTok Shop.
  • Campaign Development: Support the Head of Brand by generating collaboration ideas that drive virality, engagement, and sales.
  • Performance Reporting: Track campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.

 

 

Skills & Experience

 

To be successful in this role you will have social media and content creation experience. Building brand awareness and an engaged community is your forte. You are comfortable being in-front of the camera and creating content across TikTok and Instagram whilst also sourcing/managing relationships with TikTok creators.

 

  • 2+ years experience in social media and as a content creator
  • You are passionate about creating engaging video and static content that resonates with online audiences.
  • You have a solid understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meta trends, with a proven track record of high-engagement content creation.
  • You have a confident and engaging on-camera presence.
  • You have experience sourcing and managing TikTok and UGC creators.
  • Skilled in video shooting and editing
  • Proficient with tools like Hootsuite, CapCut, TikTok/Instagram creative tools.
  • You are highly creative, self-motivated, and experimental with new content formats.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.
  • You relentlessly follow trends and can come up with on-brand ideas.
  • Your copywriting skills are excellent, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • You can manage multiple projects at once, with strong time management skills.
