Description:
We are looking for an Experienced Sharepoint Administrator for a role based in Canberra. You will be a part of a Global consulting firm for one of their Federal Projects.
Requirements
- Provide Level 2 Support for the SharePoint information management platform (permissions, site configurations, metadata management, etc. excluding software development or infrastructure management).
- Communicate information management policies and requirements.
- Work with the SharePoint Development Team to resolve technical issues and enable a consistent end user experience and accessibility to content.
- Develop training resources for SharePoint users and Level 1 Service Desk Support, where required and as directed.
- Conduct technical training for SharePoint Content Managers - Under the direction of the Agency Information Manager, contribute to the development of information management policies and strategies.
- Under the direction of the Agency Information Manager, contribute to the records-management of SharePoint content (transfers, disposals, migrations) in accordance with Information Governance Framework and the Archives Act 1983.
- Along with the Information Strategy Team, enable provision of a consistent, efficient and compliant information and records management environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to service requests for Lvl 2 SharePoint support in accordance with agreed SLAs
- Maintain control records of SharePoint content movement, deletion or transfer
- Regular reporting on SharePoint content metrics, as directed/agreed
- Attend and contribute to SharePoint governance bodies
- Advise the Agency Information Manager of emerging issues or opportunities regarding SharePoint information management capability
