Service Manager

It’s an exciting time to be joining QBE’s Managed Fund Claims (Worker’s Compensation). As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction, coaching, and coordination for a team of Case Managers and specialists. You will provide advice to the team on claims management, legislation, and quality, whilst leading the team in achieving individual and team performance targets.

Your new role

 

  • Supervise the quality management of all claims with the team
  • Plan, manage and review team performance and customer satisfaction
  • Identify training needs, assist in facilitating appropriate support and provide coaching/mentoring
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, industry and ethical standards


     

About You

 

  • Extensive experience in a workers’ compensation claims role or similar role
  • Broad knowledge of workers compensation laws and compliance obligations with a core focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching, decision making and technical claims management.
  • Excellent people, communication, written, and networking skills.
  • A person-centred approach to customer service and people management.
