Description:

Reporting to the Manager, Community you'll lead a dedicated team of Support Workers and partner with Management to support efficient service delivery. These exciting roles will see you champion the lives of people living with a disability and support Aruma's strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and maintaining rosters for a team of Disability Support Workers and ensuring a person-centred approach to customers.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people with disabilities, their families, health professionals and our Disability Support Workers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, pay attention to detail and input accurate data to maintain customer documentation.
  • Complete on a rotating roster the Emergency after hours line.
  • Supporting and empowering Disability Support Workers
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to staff.
