Temco, Inc. is a fast pace commercial food service company looking for a new team member.
Our company is looking for an Dispatcher to be responsible for handling clerical tasks and customer service in our service department. You will be handling communications, such as incoming phone calls, scheduling service calls, dispatching technicians, supporting Operations Manager, and working with manufactures. You will also be managing files, preparing service paperwork, and performing other general clerical duties and responsibilities.
In order to be selected as a candidate, you must display the ability to multi-task, and be proficient with word processing applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.
- Handling incoming calls and other communications.
- Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments.
- Operating and manage a multi-line telephone.
- Maintain and update service calls and documenting important information, through dispatching applications.
- Scheduling service calls by prioritizing calls according to urgency.
- Preparing service, startup, install paperwork for technicians.
- Use computer to dispatch technicians to appropriate service calls.
- Assisting Field Service and Operations Managers in daily job responsibilities.
- Running daily reports for customers, technicians, FSM's and Operations Managers.
- Assist with company billing and manufacturer claim filing.
- Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
- 80-hours of vacation within 1st year of service.

- Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
- High school diploma or associate degree, valued, but not required.
- Experience as office assistant, dispatcher, customer service representative/server, or related field.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in the food service industry helpful, but not required.
- Warm personality, strong communications skills, and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Experience answering multi-line telephone.
- Good time management and problem-solving skills.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required without being told.
- Ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.
