We are seeking a talented and energetic professional to join our Service Desk Team. This person must be able to communicate with a variety of different clients and must have strong analytical skills. The ability to work in a cohesive team (Atturra and the client team) is important for this role.

As a Service Desk Consultant, you are the essential first line of assistance to our clients, providing them with application support and functional services with-in the QAD application.

This is a permanent full-time role, preferably based in our Brisbane office. However remote applicants will be considered.

  • Provide application and system operational support to clients.
  • Deliver support analysis & troubleshooting, software testing, advice on best practices.
  • Take ownership of tickets and diligently monitor Service Desk SLA’s ensure all tickets are responded to promptly and regularly.
  • Contribute to authoring documentation & how to guides.
  • Contribute root cause analysis as required to address recurring incidents.
  • Work with other senior consultants and managers to facilitate the overall happiness of clients.
  • This role does include a rotating after hours on call component for which an allowance is paid. Average call volume less than one per week, usually after 6am.

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Application support experience with QAD ERP system.
  • Previous experience working in a Help Desk environment; capable of and handling competing priorities.
  • Previous experience working within the manufacturing industry is desirable.

  • Proven ability to perform Analysis, Design, Configuration and Test activities for QAD ERP solutions.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A strong desire to exceed client expectations.
  • Previous experience working in a Help Desk environment.
