Working collaboratively with multiple organisations in differing industries, this very successful and culture driven, family-owned business have experienced some recent and exciting growth. As a result, they’re currently on the look-out for an experienced, people focused, Senior Warehouse Manager to join their team in West Melbourne.

Your new role

As a Senior Warehouse Manager with this business, your responsibilities will include:
 

• Continuing to foster an already excellent culture in the workplace
• Oversight of the entire warehousing operations across two sites
• Mentor, train and develop the skills and performance of direct reports and the wider team
• Lead and manage health and safety best practices
• Conduct regular toolbox meetings
• Report directly the to the General Manager
• Drive KPI performance through keeping the staff accountable whilst also supporting them to achieve their goals
• Work towards overall improvement and collaboration of two warehousing operations

What you’ll need to succeed
 

• A clear people person outlook and attitude
• Proven experience in end-to-end warehouse management and improvement
• Experience in using various Warehouse Management Systems
• Ability to identify any issues within the workplace and to manage them effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• A safety minded approach to your work
• Ability to drive KPI performance whilst keeping and enhancing the already strong workplace culture
