As the Senior Tax Analyst, you will be reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer and working closely with the tax team based in Australia and as well as teams offshore to ensure tax compliance is met.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing responsibilities related to direct and indirect taxation, encompassing income tax, GST, FBT, and payroll tax.
  • Contribute to the preparation of compliance documentation and reporting for transfer pricing requirements.
  • Create tax effect accounting computations and income tax provisions while updating the quarterly reporting package for submission to Head Office.
  • Conduct in-depth research on tax statutes and regulations to ensure conformity.
  • Maintain, enforce, and continually refine policies and procedures to proactively manage tax risks throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide general tax guidance when needed.

Required Skills

  • Relevant finance or accounting degree.
  • Demonstrated track record of 4-5 years in tax-related roles.
  • Comprehensive expertise encompassing income tax, GST, FBT, payroll taxes, and Accounting for Income Taxes in both public accounting and corporate environments, including working with consolidated tax groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP & CCH Global Integrator / Tax Integrator is preferred but not obligatory.
