McConnell Dowell is looking for Senior Sustainability Advisor.
This Role Will See You
Due to an upward trajectory of growth, we are currently seeking applications from professionals qualified in sustainability and environment management to join us in the position of Senior Sustainability Advisor to champion sustainable outcomes throughout the Alliances activities and solutions.
- Assist the Sustainability Manager to implement, review, and continually improve sustainability across the alliance
- Actively participate in the identification and assessment of sustainability initiatives and programs
- Support and mentor sustainability advisors and graduates in implementing an ISCA rating
- Providing sustainability advice, guidance, support and/or mentoring to the wider project team to facilitate construction and completions contributions to the project’s sustainability performance during design and construction
- Development and delivery of training programs in consultation with senior managers to ensure relevant personnel are suitably trained to undertake their sustainability responsibilities
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years experience in the same or similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, environmental science, natural resource management or related field will be essential
- ISAP accredited professional with significant experience using the IS rating tool, version 1.2
- Detailed knowledge and appreciation of current sustainability issues and skills in strategy development, systems approach, stakeholder engagement, performance management, project management, training & communication, benchmarking, auditing, data verification/ non-financials, business case
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to prepare high standard reports and documents
