Senior Structural Engineer

Description:

Design & Build are currently seeking out Structural Engineers working across multiple disciplines. We have multiple roles on offer with varying requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Conducting structural design for post-tensioned and reinforced concrete members as well as steel structures
• Performing design calculations independently and ensuring they meet Australian Standards
• Utilizing structural design softwares such as RAPT, Microstran/Spacegass, Inducta SLABS, etc.
• Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery
   

Requirements:
 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards
• Proficient in designing post-tensioned and reinforced concrete members and steel structures
• Excellent technical skills and ability to perform design calculations independently
• Strong communication skills and a great team player
• Familiarity with structural design softwares
