My client are formwork specialists, providing a selection of products to the market, their patented specialist designs provide cost effective, innovative solutions.

As a Structural Design Engineer you will use your knowledge and experience from your career in a design role to educate and demonstrate the value of the products to a range of key decision makers, ranging from Engineering Consultants, Architects and Builders. You will be confident to deliver presentations to professional engineers, educating on the value of the products.

Confident to follow up on new leads, leverage industry connections, maximise relationships and future opportunities to promote the products and deliver the best structural solutions every time.

Your design knowledge (particularly AS3600) and understanding of structural design is critical to being able to have credibility in promoting the product, in answering technical questions and optimising structural design solutions.

This is about developing a business, about promoting a product and demonstrating why it is better than your competitors, it is about forming long term relationships and there are ongoing opportunities to expand the role - and reap the rewards financially.

Whilst there aren't KPI's, this is a business development position. Having excellent communication, passion, resilience and the drive to push the products in the industry is critical to the successful person in this role.
