Senior Software Engineer

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within the software engineering team to deliver innovative products and services.
• Serve as a Responsible Engineer for flight software, conducting technical assessments, concept studies, and COTS solution analyses.
• Lead small product teams on a quarterly basis, contributing to development and setting qualification standards.
• Fulfill the role of Technical Authority on behalf of the Chief Engineer as needed.
• Support architecture development, technology strategy execution, and R&D initiatives.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software design engineering.
• 3+ years of end-to-end embedded software product development experience.
• NV1 Security Clearance eligibility.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with experience in baremetal, RTOS, FPGA (VHDL/Verilog), and embedded Linux development.
• Familiarity with aerospace software engineering standards (e.g., DO-178C), rigorous documentation, testing, and debugging tools.
• Experience in DevOps, including CI/CD processes, infrastructure management, and Git workflows.
