- Joining a newly created Development team in our Technology, Innovation and Analytics area that work on key strategic technology initiatives across Telstra Health.
- Participating in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release
- Development of new functionality as well as refactoring, troubleshooting and addressing defects found
- Working with QA, developers and UX to ensure development quality is maintained at the highest standard.
- Providing technical solutions in terms of code, design and industry best practices to ensure a quality product.
- Designing, developing and maintaining software applications that are useable, robust and scalable
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- 3+ years’ experience in software development, including exposure to all facets of the SDLC
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (technology)
- Clear understanding and experience of working in Agile Software development framework specially particularly TDD / BDD
- Strong experience with development skills in at least one of the following .NET, WPF/XAML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React.JS)
- Development testing knowledge - Unit testing, test automation
- In-depth experience in full stack projects including at least one of the following:
- C# .Net development
- SQL Server or similar large-scale relational databases
- Microsoft Entity Framework
- Web API
- Highly regarded: Microsoft certifications in software development or database development.
