The Gaming Services Platform team partners directly with Gaming Services teams to innovate and maximise customer revenue and productivity through new and exciting products and to build and grow products with secure, data-rich integrations and API’s.

As our Senior Software Engineer in the Gaming Services Platform team, you will act as a senior technical expert, coach, and mentor and assist delivery teams to discover new and improved ways to build and deliver software and ensure that software installs are completed as scheduled. You will instil a culture of customer first, driving consistency across the Technology business.

• Accredited tertiary bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong experience in software engineering
• Demonstrated recent and solid experience in C++ 11/14
• Expertise in building multi-threaded backend applications on Linux or Windows platforms using C++, C# or similar
• Proven experience in message-oriented middleware, distributed or real-time systems
• Excellent understanding on server-side technologies and experience working with APIs
• A proactive approach to keeping abreast of the IT&T industry, as well as technology trends and related practices
• Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working and the ability to drive adoption within a team
• Knowledge in docker and microservice architectures in AWS
• Experience in Bash, PowerShell, Python or Lua
• Experience or knowledge of Typescript/JavaScript on Node and Angular, or similar
