Senior Service Delivery Officer

 

Description:

As the Senior Service Delivery Officer, you will provide technical capability and support to ICT services across the department. The role will be accountable for the curation and ingestion of data sets into relevant data warehouse systems, including security administration and process within the systems, along with the provision of practical advice and reports to key stakeholders within the department. The role will deliver effective outcomes using various ICT tools and within existing frameworks, governance, standards and policies, to maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction. You will ensure service levels are met or exceeded, the continuous health, operational availability and capability of ICT platforms and services whilst ensuring completion of projects on time and within budget.

Accountabilities

The following accountabilities broadly define the role expectations of this position:
 

  • Provide authoritative advice and sound recommendations on data collections, definitions and business rules to meet internal and external analytics, security and reporting requirements.
  • Provide authoritative advice on making large and/or complex data accessible, understandable, and usable, and use appropriate data visualisation techniques and methods to convey key messages.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, development, and enhancement of existing data storage and reporting platforms and systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, support and leadership for the VPSC Cloud, CRM, Data warehouse and reporting tools (specifically Azure, Salesforce, SQL).
  • Validate data quality requirements and resolve data quality issues.
