Miwatj Health are pleased to offer this position as a full time permanent opportunity. Based in our Darwin office, you will be working closely with the Recruitment team. To be successful in this position you provide leadership to the recruitment team and support managers to effectively carry out the recruitment function whilst ensuring a positive recruitment experience for all potential and existing staff.
- Develop innovative recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract high quality candidates.
- Provide recruitment support to managers throughout the recruitment process including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and selection.
- Manage the recruitment team to ensure that recruitment services are provided to managers in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the Human Resources Manager through the provision or regular data analysis and reporting specific to the recruitment function.
- Assist in the review, updating and creating of Miwatj recruitment policies and procedures.
- Review employment contracts to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and the Miwatj Enterprise Agreement
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure a continual talent pipeline.
- Ensure all recruitment, contract documents and internal transactions are managed and processed in a timely fashion.
- An understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination.
- An understanding of the issues faced by Yolngu people living in remote settings
- Significant demonstrated experience in a similar role proving high level recruitment advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of contemporary recruitment and onboarding practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as with minimal supervision.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to negotiate and work collaboratively and successfully with stakeholders.
- Leadership and management skills at a high level appropriate for a role within a complex and dynamic organisation.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
- High level research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
