Senior Project Officer

Description:

One of our Federal Healthcare sector clients is looking for a Senior Project Officer who is an Australian Citizen and has experience working independently and can step into the shoes of the project manager if and when needed, depending on the need of the client.

The Senior Project Officer will be responsible for informing policies, managing external stakeholder relationships, and being the place of excellence for driving program delivery, reporting and outcomes for the massive national program of work.

It’s an initial 12-month contract with another 12 months extension attached along with it.

Your responsibilities will include and will not be limited to:
 

• Support Senior Project Managers with project management activities.
• Support the preparation of Project status reports, and ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Manage and monitor the project risks, actions, issues, dependencies and decisions (RAIDD) register in partnership with the Senior Project Managers, Director and working group members.
• Raise risks and issues as required.
• Develop, monitor and update project schedules in partnership with the Senior Project Managers and Director.
   

You Will Have
 

• Minimum 8 years of Project officer experience.
• Have previously worked with Healthcare clients or understands the complexities of healthcare projects.
• Have fundamental undertesting of Prince2.
• Have worked on full life cycle projects.
