This is an exciting opportunity work on a key pillar of Victoria's nation leading early childhood reforms delivering 50 new state-owned and operated child care centres (Early Learning Centres) in areas of need across Victoria. ELCs will provide integrated early childhood education and care services for communities including long day care, kindergarten and Pre-Prep and, where needed, other wrap-around early years services for children (e.g. maternal and child health or playgroups). Where possible, the ELCs will be located at, or alongside, schools, hospitals, TAFEs and other major employers.

The ELC team at the VSBA is responsible for delivering the infrastructure for the 50 ELCs however no specific infrastructure experience is required with the team focused on the strategy and planning for the 50 ELCs. The team is dynamic with a strong focus on stakeholder consultation to deliver the 50 ELCs.
