Senior Project Managers

Description:

Delivering a multi-year transformation program called the Working Smarter Program. The program will stabilise, modernise and transform the ICT and ways of working to become a digital, data driven organisation. The program has an ambitious agenda, a strong track record of delivering real outcomes, with a diverse, inclusive and dedicated team.

We are looking for flexible individuals capable of, working under limited direction to lead one or more project teams and to work closely with business users, technical staff, and vendors to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

The Senior Project Managers will prepare detailed work plans, manage a delivery schedule, and oversee resolution of technical issues to ensure timely completion of agreed tasks.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Agency’s ICT team who are managing multiple concurrent projects, and will have:

A proven track record of project delivery, preferably in Australian Government organisations

Proven ability to deliver large, concurrent deliverables to tight deadlines, using initiative and responding flexibly to change and uncertainty

Clear, concise and articulate oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate

Technical skills to be able to effectively scope, plan, execute and control ICT projects in or more of the following disciplines:

Web development

Dynamics CRM

Desktop and end user computing

Data and analytics

Cyber security

Infrastructure
