Senior Project Manager

Description:

• Deliver tasks and projects that demonstrate a thorough understanding and application of best practice project management principles to achieve successful delivery of the project.

• Develop a clear plan and schedule including key performance indicators to deliver the project on time and within budget.

• Delivery of project and tasking of team members using Agile/Scrum methodologies, using Azure DevOps.

• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including business, designers, development teams and operations to ensure work is delivered meets the requirements of the business.

• Manage risks and issues associated with the project and take corrective action to mitigate the risks.

• Communicate with stakeholders and delivery teams expectations and progress of the project.

• Manage and report on project budget and delivery milestones and schedule as required (weekly status and monthly overall).

• Undertake knowledge transfer and upskilling, along with development of documentation.

• Responsible for the undertaking and management of the change and release process for the project.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum five years’ experience in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), including artefacts, practises, and systems.

• Previous experience in a similar role in software development environment.

• Expertise in planning, prioritising conflicting requirements (support and new feature), and scheduling releases.

• Experience in negotiating business requirements and priorities with a range of stakeholders.

• Ability to perform analysis and evaluation of projects including resourcing and project financials/budget management.

• Provide visibility of team status, risks and issues to senior management and other business stakeholders

• Assist management to forecast capacity to ensure that the team has adequate resources to meet requirements and deliverables.

• Experience in presentation and the delivery of information at varying levels from business clients to board members

• Experience in coaching team members.
