We are looking forward to Senior Project Manager in Eaton’s Electrical APAC, based in Mascot,Australia.

 

Your essential responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading team of Project Managers and Project Engineers to deliver portfolio of projects that span across one or more business units
  • Manage resources, schedules and key project deliverables and outcomes
  • Directly manage large projects for Strategic accounts
  • Work with Bid team and review project proposals or plan to determine timeframe, funding, scope and resources requirements
  • Manage network of external service partners and contractors
  • Establish and manage the project plan, milestones and deliverables in consultation with all stakeholders.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget including supply chain, warehouse, engineer, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers and field service personnel
  • Provide the project sales forecast and status report
  • Prepare project status reports for management & customer’s and project related month end reporting for finance
  • Deliver high customer satisfaction through all stages of project execution
  • Throughout project life cycle, identify and assess all risk factors utilizing available risk measurement tools and identify and implement suitable mitigation activities
  • Assist in the continuous development of the Eaton Project Management System

 

If you are:

  • Formal Project Management qualification (PMP or Prince)
  • Electrical Engineering qualification, sound knowledge and understanding of ANZ electrical standards
  • Minimum 10 years experience in managing and delivering projects in MV / HV / LV space
  • Minimum 5 years experience in managing teams, track record in developing people
  • Experience or sound knowledge of project management processes and methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional team members and vendors/subcontractors to meet deadlines, be proficient in time management and the ability to prioritize work load.
  • Can do attitude, ability to work independently and enjoy working in high impact environment

  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Strong communication, (written and verbal), strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and understand the process and dynamics required for to hold the team together in common purpose toward the right objective for success of project delivery
  • Computer Literacy - MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, SAP
  • Commitment to the quality, safety and environment
