Senior Project Engineer

Do you prefer working on contract basis vs permanent? Are you seeking an even time roster of 7/7? As Senior Project Engineer you will work 12 hour days on 7/7 FIFO roster ex-Perth only , during this 3 month contract assignment. Your key focus will be to lead and oversee the delivery of a large scope of BULK EARTHWORKS on a mine rehabilitation project. The works will include TSF wall pushdowns, scour protections, and other minor earthworks. You will plan, schedule, manage, forecast and report on the site works while liaising with the client and subcontractors. You will be paid an exceptional rate CIRCA $90/hour + super , with all meals, accommodation, PPE and flights provided.

Skills, Qualifications And Other Requirements
 

• 5-10 years’ as Project/Senior Project Engineer on minesite earthworks/civils scopes of work for Civil Contractors in WA
• Proven success as a Senior Project Engineer managing earthworks scopes and contracts across planning, scheduling, forecasting, cost management, and reporting tasks.
• Exposure to earthworks projects such as; Mine rehabilitation, ROM pads, TSFs, embankments, plant site earthworks, rail formation, road construction etc.
• Excellent communication skills to guide and mentor staff and liaise with client and subcontractor reps
• Willingness and ability to undertake 7/7 FIFO roster ex Perth
• Currently Perth/WA based with existing rights to live and work in Australia
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and DAS testing
• Current Clean WA C Class driver’s licence
• Able to supply 2 favourable references from within the last 5 years
