Senior Project Engineer

Description:

Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to be based in our Adelaide office. The ideal candidate would act as the main client interface and lead a team to deliver a portfolio of Engineering and EPCM projects to scope, cost and schedule. Experience with managing projects with previous oil and gas service providers would be strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project manage and lead an engineering team to deliver engineering scopes, EPCM projects and the overall project portfolio
• Bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of a project.
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Statement of Requirements throughout the phasing of the project from concept, detail design, and site implementation
• Implementation of the company quality management system for the project 
   

Skills / Qualifications

• Cooper Basin experience is a plus
• Candidates with oil and gas project management experience
• Previous experience in the role of a Senior Project Engineer leading a project multidiscipline engineering teams to deliver a portfolio of small projects
• Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Demonstrated strong commitment to safety
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral
