About The Opportunity

The Project Controls Professional will manage the day-to-day Project Controls activities on programs/ projects. You will routinely report on the cost, schedule and resource trends and forecasts on projects.

Working closely with the bid team you will provide leadership for engagement of submissions including pricing and commercial aspect. You will perform and promote Jacob’s Project controls Capability to our clients (both internal and external) across the areas of project including, strategy, leadership, change management, business system application and roll- out and initiatives. You will also undertake schedule risk analysis.

Reporting to the Team Leader – Integrated Project Delivery Services, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining master and complex project schedules for engineering design and construction related projects
  • Preparing client project progress reports and analysing schedule and cost impacts
  • Coordinating with project teams to collect project progress data
  • Liaising with our Project Controls teams from our global offices
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals
  • Carrying out Jacobs internal Project Controls activities
  • Supporting the Team Leader and relevant stakeholders in the development of Project Controls internal development initiatives

Here’s What You’ll Need:


What You’ll Need

  • Hold a Tertiary Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or equivalent
  • Be an advanced Primavera P6 and Ms Project user
  • Have experience with other Project Controls systems and software including Power BI
  • Have experience in engineering and construction projects in the resources, transport, water, power, or defence sector
