Based in Melbourne, the Colonial First State Wrap Product Development team provides product development support to CFS Technology. This team is responsible for acting as Product Owners for the wrap suite of products, ensuring we deliver value to market fast, understand the adviser market dynamics and drive customer experience.

This involves collaboration with key stakeholders within the business to manage the portfolio and drive change to enhance members’ and advisers’ experience, as well as managing relevant product governance activities when deploying changes with the responsibility of reviewing and sign-off of relevant offer documentation and communication materials. This team has responsibility for all aspects of Wrap product development and design to include the understanding the market for Wrap products, drive product design (including managing product roadmap and backlogs), drive any product enhancements or new initiatives, and act as Product Owner for the Wrap Platform.

The Senior Product Manager role is currently available as a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment. We are open to locating this role in our Hawthorn East or Sydney CBD offices.

As Senior Product Manager, you will contribute to the development of the Wrap suite of products (including product enhancement resulting from regulatory change), You will be required to support the existing product suite, take responsibility for product development of new initiatives/ major projects and act as Product Owner for the Value Streams we operate under, provide technical and product information to other areas of the business and collaborate on product initiatives across CFS.

Other Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Being the key product contact point on product development projects focusing on mainly regulatory reform changes. You may be required to lead a specific development as product owner, or provide support to the Executive Manager, Wrap Product Development for larger initiatives.
• Managing assigned responsibilities relating to the day to day product development of CFS Wrap products including developing product specifications, drive new product initiatives
• Represent the team in major projects and initiatives.
• Providing a strong customer centric design approach on all delivery to provide better customers and advisers outcomes and input into Board, Committee and Management papers for product changes.
• Analysis of the market and competitor products relative to our own to identify new opportunities
• Drive product profitability and retention of customers and advisers.
• Ensure product compliance and governance when deploying new initiatives or changes to the platform.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have the following background: 

• Product experience in superannuation or funds management.
• Previous wrap product development experience within a superannuation environment is highly desirable.
• Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
• Sound understanding of the competitor landscape
• Experience in delivering projects and enhancement in an agile environment
• Strong end-to-end project management skills to coordinate, plan and engage key stakeholders
