Senior Policy Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Policy Officer to join our Government client. They offer a supportive and dynamic work environment and the opportunity to make a real difference in shaping the future of education policy in Victoria.

The role is through to Feburary 2025 with possible extensions and offers hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities
 

• Undertake policy research, analysis, and advice to inform legislative and regulatory reforms
• Engage with senior stakeholders
• Lead projects and initiatives related to the Education sector
• Provide strong analytical and communication skills to support policy development
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives
   

About You
 

• Prior secretariat,policy, legislative and/or regulatory experience
• Knowledge and experience of the education or Government sector
• Strong analytical, communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills
