Senior Platform Engineer

Description:

As an Azure Expert, you will join our team in Sydney for a permanent opportunity. Leveraging your expertise in Azure, you will provide guidance and support for our client's cloud platform initiatives. Your responsibilities will include delivering clean code solutions, driving agile DevOps practices, and optimizing various database technologies. Additionally, you will design and implement robust and scalable architectures, leveraging cloud-native technologies, containerization, and security best practices. Your experience in test automation and RESTful API development will contribute to project success.

Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in Azure with strong technical, architectural, and design skills.
• Experience with private cloud architectures and proficiency in Linux and Windows.
• Understanding of application development principles.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, management, networking, application routing, release management, and workflow automation in Azure.
• Familiarity with Azure Function, ADLS, Azure App Service, Azure Gateway, ACR, ACI, GitHub Action, Azure Storage, and Azure DB.
• Security knowledge and prior experience with automation and orchestration tools.
• Motivated to learn new technologies and practices.

Desirable capabilities:

• Significant experience in building AKS infrastructure and managing containers with Azure Kubernetes.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
