An exciting opportunity to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring accurate data representation, user testing, and secure content sharing to support the People Function’s data & analytics needs.
Your new role
Strategy & Planning
- Design, develop, and deploy analytic solutions by partnering with appropriate business groups to identify areas of analytic opportunity and utilizing available tools to deliver sustainable solutions
- Advise user groups within the People Function on how reports and dashboards can be/are designed to meet their needs
- Execute model and analytic development in Power BI
- Maintain awareness of relevant ongoing developments in industry & technology
Policy, Process & Procedures
- Adhere to all data governance policies and regulations, such as GDPR
- Recommend & support enhancements of policies & procedures to facilitate appropriate new use cases and analytical techniques
- Provide analytics subject matter expertise and recommendations for continuous improvement of People Analytics
- Support and enable the regular revalidation of access to data by incorporating relevant features in report and dashboard design
Technical Performance
- Lead implementation of solutions in Power BI, capturing detailed requirements with Senior Manager, People Analytics and users across the People Function
- Technical design and approaches applied maximize performance and accuracy of insights delivered, as well as usability and user experience.
- Solutions are scalable and designed to be sustainable for long-term maintenance and enhancement.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Collaborate with People Data & Analytics Leadership to understand and clarify high-level requirements from each area of the People Function
- Collaborate with Senior Data Engineer and Senior Manager, People Analytics on data model design in Azure SQL DB to ensure available data sets are usable and fit for purpose
- Engage with teams across the People Function to understand, design, and document detailed requirements for Power BI solutions, in line with high-level requirements and strategic objectives
- Assist with training of other People Data & Analytics team members as well as users of dashboards and reports as required
