Responsibilities
 

  • Ensure the end users of the service are at the forefront of decision making.
  • Provide a quality, nutritious service with a high level of standards and cleanliness.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies and value-driven approaches.
  • Maintain competitive pricing aligned with product/service quality.
  • Exceed margin growth targets and maximize returns on investments.
  • Manage annual leave and HR related factors for direct reports ensuring business is covered appropriately with handovers in place.
  • Identify and address skill gaps with training and coaching implemented for increased productivity.
  • Maintain safe workplaces as per legislative standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and WH&S Regulations.
  • Monitor food safety records, reports, hygiene standards and raise any WHS issues. Ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.
  • Constructively contribute to meetings, activities, inspections or other WHS related duties.
  • Build & maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assume delegated responsibilities to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage financial records and participate in client sales processes.
  • Conduct site audits and implement client retention strategies.
  • Maintain a good understanding of new and updated Legislation and Acts as required.
  • Ensure team have what they need to undertake their duties to the best of their ability. Host regular team and individual meetings. Problem solve and implement strategies for the benefit of the team and the end users.
     

Qualifications & Experience:
 

  • Diploma in Management and/or Hospitality Qualification
  • Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or similar preferred
  • Multi-site management experience
  • Familiarity with NSW Food Authority Legislation & Accreditation processes
  • Experience within aged care/retirement living or education.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in team management and efficient time management in a busy setting.
  • Proficient Human Resources skills.
  • Competence in financial analysis and implementing impactful changes.
  • Skilled in coaching & mentoring employees and direct reports.
