Description:
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Network Performance & Optimisation Engineer, who will be responsible for improving 4G/5G performance, KPI metrics and end-user experience. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals.
- Collaborating with the Performance Lead or Performance Manager
- Delivering site and/or cluster acceptance activities within time and budget
- Support benchmarking activities, cluster optimisation, special events analysis and/or new on-field trials
- Tune and optimize customer network to achieve KPI targets within timeframe and budget
- Troubleshoot 4G/5G site issues during network swapout or capacity upgrade
- Resolve customer 4G/5G technical issues
- Attend customer premise for meetings
- Reviewing customers network and proposing technical solutions on performance improvements
- Perform E2E drive test and analysis of log files (layer 3)
- Drive efficiencies, automation and cost savings in network performance and optimization processes
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
- Supporting Performance Manager or Lead on driving network enhancement and ad-hoc activities
- Excellent understanding and experience RF tuning and optimization in WCDMA/LTE/5G networks.
- Worked in large scale network swap outs projects and driven e2e improvement
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience of multi-vendor KPI and feature mapping
- Understanding of different features and baseline parameters for performance improvements
- Proven examples of driving outcomes in swap project and within timeframe & budget
- Managing special event capacity planning, dimensioning and planning
- Extensive experience troubleshooting on complex 4G/5G technical issues
- Solid experience with drive test tools such as X-CAL/CAP, TEMS-I/D, QXDM
- Deep understanding on L3 messaging, root cause analysis and cell trace
- Experience with various multi-vendor OSS platform tools
- Experience with benchmarking activities and Ookalah, Youtube speed test optimization
- Experience and understanding in multi-vendor network interworking
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills to resolve issues with build and integration team
- Ericsson experience highly regarded
- Programming and Scripting skills advantageous
