Tackling issues of a lack of trust, corruption & graft, poor record-keeping and farming inefficiencies, AgUnity has developed a smartphone and blockchain-based solution for the world’s poorest farmers, a simple mobile app restoring trust and enabling cooperation.

The Role and Responsibilities

AgUnity is undertaking a new, world-first digital token project, AgriUT (http://www.agriut.org.au) and we require a senior marketing manager to oversee and manage the execution of the marketing and sales strategy for this token. In this role you will hold ultimate responsibility for the marketing activities at AgUnity and oversee the development and delivery of fully integrated marketing for our business.

What you will achieve in 12 months:

  • Be responsible for all aspects of daily management for the marketing function.
  • Develop multi-channel marketing initiatives. Key channels include: content marketing, digital marketing, and direct client marketing.
  • Work closely with content marketing to craft stories that showcase the organisation's value proposition through all channels.
  • Work closely with our digital team and actively contribute to the strategy and management of key marketing channels including the firm’s global website, social media and paid marketing programs.
  • Improve awareness to accelerate conversion rates at each stage of the sales funnel.
  • Lead the execution of campaigns to targeted customers from the bottom up.
  • Work closely with management and sales to develop and implement strategy the go-to-market vision.
  • Establish, evolve, and develop the marketing planning, analytics, operations, and overall go-to-market disciplines.
  • Develop, test, and report on relevant KPIs for all marketing activities.
  • Work with our growth team to integrate the overall marketing growth strategy.
  • Manage the launch of ICO, Cryptocurrency products, categories and marketing activations.
  • Develop, communicate and implement marketing strategies and ensure all teams are aligned to the objectives required to achieve the strategies.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing calendar and ensure the whole marketing team are aware of the dates and hit the set milestones.
  • Develop and implement new market and expansion go-to-market strategies.
  • Track record of success in senior marketing roles and still have the ability to get down into the trenches, implement solutions in both digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Results focused with strength in using data and analytics to support marketing programs.
  • Work closely with the company’s Sales team; enables them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.

  • A self-starter and highly motivated to achieve, capable of working in a fast-paced, start-up culture.
  • A lead-from-the-front mentality, with experience in a cross-functional, team environment.
  • Can navigate and organise chaos.
  • A great communicator with excellent written and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply, both in writing and verbally.
  • 10+ years of Marketing experience required, with at least 2 in a marketing leadership and expansion role.
