Our central marketing team is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join the team in an 8 month contract role and report to the Head of Brand and Content. You will lead the team of 4, responsible for

communicating the full yearly customer calendar across the full channel mix.

What you’ll be doing

A fast paced, team leadership role, leading marketing communications across sustainability, health, seasonal events and brand for Coles supermarkets. You’ll bring strong negotiating and influencing skills, budgeting experience and an ability to manage change.

You’ll also:

  • Identify and articulate key objectives across all platforms in line with the customer calendar, ensuring alignment and building brand equity through integrated marketing communications
  • Interpret customer problems to define customer-centric solutions
  • Inform iteration of platform strategy in line with post-campaign results
  • Optimise team workflows to ensure engaged and utilised team
  • Budget accountability: circa $10M production budget
  • Manage direct report to deliver program of work

 

 

Good things you’ll need

 

 

  • 7+ years leading marketing strategy and in a retail or services industry role
  • Experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets across multiple agency partners
  • Experience in managing direct reports/team
  • People management
  • Tertiary qualification in Advertising, Marketing or Business
  • Market, sales and customer data analysis
  • Brand planning
  • Campaign development and execution
  • Media planning
  • Project management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Budget forecasting and reconciliation
