About The Role
Senior Managers are strategic leaders within DoorDash and the tip of the spear. We’re looking for unicorns–people who can think strategically at the highest level while simultaneously executing on the day to day actions necessary to achieve our goals. A Senior Manager has an aptitude for blending analytics and creativity to scope and solve complex problems and the ability to think about the short and long term goals of a market. They are self-starters, capable of leading multiple work streams to achieve the overall vision for Australia.
What You'll Do
- Strategise – Consistently innovate and execute on short & long term strategies for the Dasher, customer, and merchant operations in Australia
- Analyse – Build analysis to understand your regional strengths and weaknesses, competitive pressures and opportunity areas
- Build – Generate new business by exploring growth opportunities with new and current partners for the DoorDash Marketplace and other verticals.
- Advocate – Work cross-functionally with our Operations, Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Sales, BD, and Marketing teams to drive strategic initiatives and harness opportunities crucial to the growth of your region.
- Experiment – Use data-driven decision making and sound business judgment to identify improvement opportunities, run tests, and innovate our business
- Operate – Figure out how to get from A to B–then actually make it happen
- Grow – Help the business get 1% better every day
