About The Role
The High-Net-Worth Domain (HNW) is a persistent and cross-functional group of colleagues working in an agile way to deliver strategic value outcomes for investors needs and colleagues. The Senior Manager, Business Delivery reports to the Head of Domain Execution and focuses on driving the end-to-end delivery of Private Wealth strategic business outcomes in line with the ambition.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Driving the delivery of prioritised, strategic initiatives. You will liaise between business and technology to deliver large scale and complex business outcomes align to the PW vision and strategy
- Enabling collaboration between business and technology that have squads delivering to the same overarching strategic value outcomes for clients and colleagues
- Ensuring that execution and strategy are aligned by working with Accountable Exec, Tech Exec, Product Owners, and Domain Orchestration Lead, including partnering with Tech RTEs to ensuring that work is progressively elaborated, delivered and business implementation activities are planned and executed to achieve business readiness
- Provide support to Product Owners and Accountable Executives in prioritisation, sequencing outcomes, managing interdependencies, and removing delivery roadblocks
- Work closely alongside Product Owners and Squads to define epics backlog, sequencing iteratively deliver epics/features from design to release and business implementation
- Take responsibility for financial management, resourcing / capability forecasts for the assigned business outcomes, and manage communications with the domains
- Oversee governance and operating rhythms, prepare inputs/artefacts into Domain Forums.
- Partner with Domain and Sub Domain Orchestration Leads to continue improve domain execution operational process, workflow, and capability.
What you will bring:
- Significant experience in project, program, portfolio or delivery management, preferably with at least 5 years in banking and financial services
- Advanced exposure in agile ways of working and agile at scale approach
- Background managing the delivery of large complex programs containing multiple streams, with multiple internal and external vendors
- Financial services experience, in particular Wealth Management and / or Private banking.
- Extensive use of structured program and project management methodologies
- The ability to Build and lead teams/or cross functional teams
- Experience within change management
- Strong working knowledge of project management tooling
