The Roles
The Business Services Discipline is seeking to appoint both a teaching and research focused Lecturer and Senior Lecture in Marketing. The successful applicant/s will be expected to design and develop modern and diverse marketing units that will ensure our students are challenged and graduate industry ready. The marketing lecturer will be required to teach general marketing foundation units such as consumer psychology, strategic marketing, advertising and brand management. An ability to manage qualitative and quantitative analysis would be an advantage. In addition, the Senior Lecturer position will be required to contribute to curriculum design across contemporary issues in marketing such as data analytics, digital marketing and sustainability.
Applicants must have a PhD in Marketing and be teaching and research active with a demonstrable track record of research publications in top-tier journals (ABDC A/A*). Candidates will also need to demonstrate their strive for excellence, their growing reputation in the field as well as their innovative and inspiring scholarship approach. The successful applicants will have a flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to any circumstance, by consulting and liaising confidently with senior-level stakeholders. Demonstrable experience in liaising with external bodies, both nationally and internationally, ensuring compliance with numerous frameworks and policies is also highly desirable.
