Senior Java Developer

Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support their system that consists of multiple components built on various technologies/languages such as .Net, Java, AWS, Oracle, etc. The successful candidate will work in a small team of highly skilled Java and .Net developers/SMEs to develop enterprise-grade software using Java and Oracle technologies.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Develop/maintain web-based UI using ReactJS, CSS and HTML
• Design data models, translate to physical models and implement
• Implement CRUD operations on the database using Java Object-Relational Mapping frameworks
• Produce and maintain detailed design artefacts and technical specifications
• Create and work with RESTful OpenAPI specifications

Skills and Experience

• Extensive Java experience, enterprise design patterns, JPA, Hibernate ORM
• Java Web service development, SOAP and REST APIs
• Unix/Linux, Bash
• Maven lifecycle management, continuous integration
• AWS development (EC2, Lambdas, API Gateway, etc.)
