Description:
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior HS Advisor within Mining on a 2:1 roster fifo from Perth, for an estimated nine months.
Senior HS Advisor
- Site based providing HS support and mentoring to contractors and staff, core responsibilities include;
- Influencing positive safety interactions and driving practical outcomes whilst ensuring industry best practice is applied.
- Assist with the development and review of Critical Risk Assessment Workshops (CRAW), Team Based Risk Assessments (TBRA) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Reporting on Project OHS performance at the project level including statistical reporting.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior HS Advisor or similar role
- Previous FIFO experience
- Knowledge in maintaining and auditing Management Systems in accordance with AS4801, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001.
- Secondary Education Diploma or Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Lead Investigator and Facilitator (ICAM).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge.
