Senior Financial Accountant

The Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller , your duties will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
 

• Handling month-end tasks such as balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Managing fixed assets register full function
• Preparing and reviewing month-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Consolidating monthly, half-year, and year-end accounts, as well as reporting packs and cash flow forecasts
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for process optimization
• Maintaining control analysis, offering commentary, and providing insights on consolidated profit and loss statements
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Reviewing and maintaining internal control systems
• Supporting external audits
• Assisting with and reviewing process improvements
   

Skills And Experience
 

• Large, complex and fast paced business exposure will be highly regarded along with FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing or like industries
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability/passion for leadership
