Senior Financial Accountant

 

Description:

The PositionReporting to the Group Financial Controller and working within a team of talented finance professionals within the business. You will be responsible for providing a range of accounting functions, primarily focused on financial accounting and revenue recognition. You will work closely with other members in the accounting team with a collaborative approach to achieving financial reporting outcomes.

This role is initially offered as a 3 month temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of all transactional, accounting and reporting needs for relevant entity
  • Preparation of month end reporting within allocated timelines
  • Undertake a review of revenue recognition processes and advise on best practice moving forward
  • Provide commentary around variances in monthly results

Skills And Experience

  • CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
  • Proven track record in a financial accounting role within a commercial environment
  • Ability to commence on Monday 16th of August ideally
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
