This role works in finance business partnering team, to provide assistance and support to the Principal Finance Officer/Finance Business Partner for the assigned Portfolio related financial management and services (excluding shared services), including Interpret and apply government accounting procedures and policies relevant to the operations of the assigned business unit including the Treasurer's Directions. It provides accurate, reliable and strategic advice that meets customer expectations and the Directorate’s service delivery standards.

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in accounting, and CA/CPA qualifications (or working towards these qualifications). They will have strong skills and experience in finance business partnering, management accounting, and financial analysis.
