As our Australasian Energy team continues to grow, we are embarking on a large and significant projects in markets including hydrogen, battery storage, renewables, transmission and distribution as well pumped hydro. With this growth, we are looking for talented and capable professionals with a background in energy to provide technical support and to help us support, mentor and grow the team. We are looking for a broad range of professionals with relevant experience in project management, engineering, finance and economics.

About you

As a key and valued member, you will be working with relevant workstreams and cover technical advisory, renewable energy studies and front-end engineering design.

Profile for success:

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or finance and economics and/or project managmeent
• Relevant industry experience in any of the following: power systems, solar PV, hydrogen, battery energy storage, pumped hydro, lenders technical due diligence for energy, and project management within a consulting business environment.
• Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
• Enthusiasm to develop technical and commercial knowledge
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
• Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit
• Desire to excel

To be successful in this role you will:

• Work as part of a team across the infrastructure team, with a focus on moving to a decarbonised economoy.
• Be responsible for meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area.
• Author or review technical reports spanning a variety of areas related to sustainability.
• You will be responsible for the development of others, and provide guidance, training and feedback.
• You will represent your team or group at external meetings and you may be involved in developing events, activities and internal projects.
