Description:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our product roadmap, working closely with the team to design, build, and deploy scalable and robust solutions. You will champion best practices, code quality, and testing, ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of our platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, ML engineers and product managers to deliver seamless and integrated features.
- Champion best practices for software development, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
- Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
- Contribute to the product roadmap and participate in technical discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and share your expertise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development.
As an Ideal Candidate, You Will Have:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development.
- Deep understanding of Python and related frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases and ORM technologies.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Strong AWS experience.
- Experience with containerization technologies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Experience with GIS is a bonus.
- Interest in AI/ML is a plus.
