Description:
Hudson is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join a large organisation. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in analyzing criminal justice system data to provide insights, forecasts, and modeling reports to support the Program Team's decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of criminal justice system data to generate forecasts and modeling reports.
- Extract, validate, and ensure contextual accuracy of data from various sources to support Program delivery.
- Analyze trends, aggregate data, and provide actionable insights to address business problems.
- Undertake statistical analysis related to projects, operations, and activities.
- Develop high-level reporting documents such as Operational Forecasts, Workforce requirements, and strategic dashboards.
- Collaborate with CCSO Projects to create audience-relevant data visuals, including dashboards and reports.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to the correctional jurisdiction.

- Proven ability to engage team and management input to produce accurate and timely solutions.
- Sound research and analytical skills for investigating issues and analyzing business data associated with corrections.
- Experience and understanding of program data analytics, forecasting, and modeling methodologies.
- Exceptional document and version control, ensuring current/contextual data for reporting and decision-making.
- Skills and experience in the preparation of reports and complex written documentation within a structured framework.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to work autonomously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proven high-level negotiation and liaison skills to achieve corporate outcomes.
- Capability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, policy, and procedures in an operational environment.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks.
