Description:
As a Senior Content Designer, you will lead a team of content designers within the Brand and content team. You will shape the future content design vision and practices and will play a pivotal role in the transformation journey towards an enhanced member experience.
About The Role
- Lead a team of content designers to create end-to-end content solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of Designers, Marketers, Product Managers, and Developers to shape content design and UX writing practices.
- Lead the creation of digital content, interface copy, and micro-copy that aligns with the experience vision, design principles, and brand identity.
- Contribute to defining the future state vision and value proposition for content design.
- Support optimization and experimentation programs, recommend content improvements, and facilitate testing to drive continual enhancements across the digital portfolio.
- Utilize insights, trends, and data to initiate content tests and drive experience improvements.
- Report on key content design metrics and measure against set targets and KPIs.
- Develop and manage content design principles, standards, and team processes to enhance the consistency and quality of the member experience.
- Contribute to and maintain the Content Design System, including UX writing principles, tone and voice frameworks, content patterns/components, and style guides.
- Establish content lifecycle management to ensure accuracy, usability, accessibility, and optimization for users and search engines.
- Create scalable processes, workflows, and content templates to support team efficiency and success.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and coaching.
- Ensure the team has the necessary tools and processes for exceptional content design.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and act as a Brand & Content ambassador.
- Participate in regulatory risk and compliance activities and cooperate with the company to ensure adherence to regulations.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 7-10 years of digital content experience
- Previous experience in a regulated industry such as Health, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or Government.
- Experience with UX writing, content audits, content mapping, content planning, conversational design, and information architecture.
- Experience in project management and agile environments.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience with CMS systems, Such as AEM (or similar) and other Adobe products.
- Strong SEO experience and experience with SEMrush or similar
