Description:
The Senior Consultant, Invoice Operations is responsible for ensuring the completeness and integrity of financial data to support the timely and accurate payment to all landlords. In addition to this, they will have an oversight of the control environment in relation to onboarding landlords and suppliers and the updating of master data for payment and tax purposes. The role will also work closely with the Strategic Sourcing team and provide oversight in relation to Accounts Payable invoice processing and corporate card transactions.

In this Senior Consultant role, you will:
- Monitor and develop payment governance frameworks to ensure the smooth running and payment of NAB landlords across Group Property Commercial operations.
- Oversight and guidance of reports to deliver insights and updates against key metrics for Group Property Executive.
- In conjunction with Commercial Manager act as the internal point of contact for all landlord payment issues for Group Property.
- Oversight of 3 x Payments Associates that facilitate landlord payments related to property management.
- Oversight of key contact for regular audits of lease and facilities payments to ensure overall accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Manage NAB supplier payments and pcard transactions.
- Act as 2IC for the Service Manager Invoice and Help Desk Operations and work closely with the strategic sourcing operations leadership team.
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in commercial operations, property/strategic sourcing property.
- Knowledge of Integrated Workplace Management Systems or ERP systems, SAP Ariba and Tango software.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking for the development of best in breed invoice payment processing.
- Attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve complex payment issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and their application, especially AASB16.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA would be advantageous.
