Description:
EY’s International Engagement team offers government clients advice and implementation support to deliver transformative social and economic development initiatives in the Indo-Pacific region. This includes providing technical advice, designing and delivering technical cooperation activities, and facilitating international partnerships between a range of diverse organisations. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of different clients and both Official Development Assistance (ODA) and non-ODA engagements in sectors including infrastructure, transport, energy, climate, telecommunications, and trade and investment.
You will also:
- Support delivery of client engagements by ensuring that activities and services are oriented to each client's needs, and are delivered effectively and efficiently
- Undertake sector or country-specific research and analysis to provide strategic advice to clients in consultation with senior staff and partners
- Draft clear, well written and easy to understand reports and presentations
- Coordinate between multiple teams and support functions to deliver activities including workshops, conferences, and study tours across Australia and the Indo-Pacific region
- Help manage internal budgets and administration requirements and ensure quality, independence and risk management protocols are followed
- Support business development activities, including the preparation of proposals
- Work closely with diverse teams in Australia and across the Indo-Pacific region
- Build relationships across EY, with clients and other industry professionals.

- A strong interest in international development and/or international relations, trade, infrastructure and economic development
- Ability to convene stakeholders across diverse cultural contexts
- Report writing, analysis, ability to think non-linearly and strategically when problem-solving and utilise general commercial skills and acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in internal and external forums
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects / people concurrently, and effectively prioritise competing demands
- A proactive, supportive and respectful approach to their team, and able to function under pressure but also demonstrate judgment in asking for help when required.
- Experience in any of the following domains is desirable: international development programming, infrastructure, international trade, economics, and gender and social inclusion.
