Description:
As a Senior Consultant in the Global Derivatives Practice, you will have broad, in-depth knowledge of the Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) market and product, be technically competent to act as a first point of reference for day-to-day queries and serve as a liaison to related areas. This role focuses on relatively complex, extensive and technical activities which requires direct interaction with clients, partners and senior management.
What You Will Do
- Be a single point of contact to understand operations and support for client
- Performs timely exception resolution and narration on open break items
- Consistently works to reduce break resolution turnaround time
- Identifies recurring items and themes and works to mitigate issues and implement preventative measures
- Works effectively both as a team member and an independent, self-motivated individual
- Serves as an Exchange Traded Derivatives Subject Matter Expert
- Identifies opportunities for improvement within existing technology applications and acts as a liaison with Global Partner areas to drive resolution
- Focuses on maintenance and implementation of Global policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expert
- Independently builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Acts as escalation point of contact for client issues or inquiries
- Understands current Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that are directly related to job function(s)
About You
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) market and end to end lifecycle
- Knowledge of financial services, asset management and/or investment operations
- Previous Financial Industry Operations, Asset Management and/or Investment Operations experience
- Exposure and understanding of Risk, Audit and Compliance factors
- Exposure to business process and/or technology enhancement initiatives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple intraday deadlines and to work comfortably without supervision
- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented
- Track record of adopting and understanding technical and complex operating models quickly and proficiently
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners on site/ across business lines/ juniors and seniors
